Inspired by Alibaba.com back in 2004, Jason started his entrepreneurship journey with the simple idea of building an internet platform to connect the world.
Growing up in Taiwan, he was fascinated by global cultures so he focused his career on lowering the friction between cross-border business and enabling the connection of ideas, opportunities, and relationships. Talent Basket was born out of the promise that technology can make globalization a force of good for everyone, anywhere.
In 2016, Jason met JC Wong. At that time she was the global youth ambassador for Pacific Asia Travel Association. The two began working together, dreaming up audacious plans to change the world. Around the same time, Jason and Hendrik were toying with various startup ideas. The 3 came together in 2020 to make the Talent Basket vision a reality.
For the past 10 years, Jason has been a bootstrapped solopreneur helping clients like Spotify, Discover, UnionPay, Volcom, and Guam Visitors Bureau with their global marketing.
Previously, the senior developer of TeamApp, Hendrik has more than 15 years experience in coding and a Ph.D. in computer science from RMIT University, Australia.
JC, previously the global youth ambassador at Pacific Asia Travel Association, grew the youth development program to over 75 countries with 5,000+ members in less than 2 years.
